Karibamerica is a not for profit organization created to address disparities in our community affecting cancer stricken, underserved individuals and families within ethnic minorities in the South Florida area. We are targeting primarily Haitians and Haitian-Americans as well as Caribbean, African-Americans by providing the support needed through our programs designed to complement medical care for woman, men, children and teens utilizing: health education, social activities, mentoring, awareness campaign, support groups to improve their quality of life.

Our Vision is to see that every native or immigrant individual and families stricken or affected by cancer within minority communities develop successful coping strategies to stay positive and confident in spite of their diagnosis.

Karibamerica is a 501(c)3 non profit organization working together with national and the over 140 organizations we are partnered with, implementing global, integrated and culturally sensitive services to ethnic minorities, to ensure maximum and sustainable impact of its interventions at family and community level, with a multilingual capacity.
