Our Mission
Karibamerica is a not-for-profit organization created to address disparities affecting cancer stricken, underserved individuals and families within ethnic minorities in the local community.
We provide the support needed through our programs designed to complement medical care for children, teens, woman, men, and singles utilizing: health education, social activities, mentoring, awareness campaign, support groups to improve their quality of life.
In South Florida, we are targeting primarily Haitians and Haitian-Americans as well as Caribbean African-Americans additionally we recently added support programs for US veterans. www.karibamerica.org
In Georgia we provide services in the metro-Atlanta to families and the caregivers of patients suffering from cancer along with Alzheimer, Dementia or any mental illness.
We provide the support to the caregivers and their family affected, utilizing: patient navigation, and assist them with acquiring the skills needed to help them cope with the burdens associated with a cancer diagnosis. Additionally we recently added support programs for US veterans.
Our Vision
Our Vision is to see that every native or immigrant individual and families stricken or affected by cancer within minority communities develop successful coping strategies to stay positive and confident in spite of their diagnosis.

Karibamerica is a 501(c)3 non profit organization working together with national and other organizations we are partnered with in the Georgia area, implementing global, integrated and culturally sensitive services to ethnic minorities, to ensure maximum and sustainable impact of its interventions at family and community level.
