Karib Outreach/In-House Activities

“Nell’s Mammo Bras” a program designed to help underserved woman in our community, and abroad who are unable to afford reconstrutive breast surgery after total or partial mastectomy. We understand a woman’s confidence also lies in her outer appearance, so to help her with her self image, and confidence while going through the changes in her life, we will help her with a special silicone filled in bra to match her previous size.  

“Cancer Support” a very important program that can help mentor affected individuals deal with the changes that comes with the diagnosis on a one on one level.

“Cancer Walks” We want to inform the community of the importance of walking not only to promote health but also to continue the fight for those who have lost their battle to cance.

“Awareness Events, Shows” a series of events geared toward informing the community of services that are available throughor partners in the health care system, so everyone know where to get the help they need when cancer stricke.

“Media Campaign, Radio, TV Shows” A series of radio show and appearances geared toward informing the much older individuals in our community who tends to listen more to popular radio stations, to get the happenings in health care, there we also speak on health issues, and the help that’s available.

“Dance/Singing Activities” a series of activities geared toward prevention by exercise. It’s target is more towards the youth in our community, and abroad.

“Nutrition/Fitness Activities” programs that can help individuals and their families understand the importance of proper nutrition in preventing cancer disease, and to keep an alkaline body versus and acidic one.

“School Programs” this program will help student dealing with the stress of having a parent at home affected by cancer. Counseling will be provided to help the child in his/her academic life while going through this new challenges according to their age.

“Wholistic programs” a program that can help individuals and their families, understand the role of meditation, faith, prayer in their life while going through new challenges, and how to stay balance so a more enjoyable life is possible in spite of the diagnosis.

“Food and Toy Distributions” keeping a smile on a child’s face is our goal, until our orphanage is up and in operation we want to help other organizations in the community by partnering with them throughout the whole year in the distribution of toys.

“Promotion of preventive care and Screening” partnering with other health care professionals, not for profit organizations, and businesses in distribution, screening for cancer in our community.

“Specialized Medical Translation Services (SMTS)” a program that can help individuals with translation of diagnosis from the doctor to patient when English language is a barrier.
