Haiti Orphanage Project

According to the statistics:
- 300,000 Children younger than 2 need nutritional support
- 625 Haitian orphans have been evacuated
- More than 25,000 schools in Haiti have been affected by the earthquake
- 1.26 million children have been directly affected by the earthquake in Haiti
We, at Karibamerica, a non-profit organization with a 501(c)3 status, care for orphans whether they lose their parents due to cancer or natural disaster. Due to the nature of the damages in Haiti since the earthquake in January 12,2010 we have a responsibility to respond to these angels. At His House Children’s Home (www.hhch.org) we have devoted a number of hours serving over 400 children from Haiti’s damaged orphanages to Miami, from sleepless nights to helping soothe restless children traumatized by the psychological effect of the earthquake to their young mind. We sent tents in February as you can see in the picture below, but that was not enough, from a broken heart we went looking for suitable and safe location in March. We realized that children need a supportive family and nurturing environment. Even within a biological family children need a lot of attentions emotionally, spiritually… which is more than clothing, shelter, and food. They need unconditional love. Children placed within a family at an early stage of life, rather than later, have a much higher success rate of bonding with the family.
That is the opportunity we want to provide through our orphanage project for the children lost in the middle of this chaos. With our caring hands we want to provide a child friendly, family-oriented environment for the harmonious growth and development of children in the USA and abroad.
So as we embark in this new endeavor in the North side of Haiti, your help is needed, we are seeking funding for the realization of this project, please do not hesitate to make a tax deductible donation by visiting the page when clickinghere.
